These Ensembles meet during the school day
Concert Band
This course is perfect for high school students who are new to instrumental music or have limited experience. This is a non-audition course where students will learn learn to enhance their musical abilities, master basic techniques, and read music. This course covers a variety of musical styles and works.
Symphonic Band
This audition-based course is designed for high school students with prior experience in instrumental music. Students will refine their technical skills, advance their music reading abilities, and explore more complex musical repertoire. Emphasis will be placed on ensemble performance, musical expression, and preparing for concerts and competitions. Audition required for placement.
Wind Ensemble
Wind Ensemble is an advanced, audition-based course designed for high school musicians, primarily juniors and seniors, who demonstrate exceptional proficiency on their instruments. This ensemble will rehearse more advanced and technically challenging music while focusing on high-level ensemble performance, musicality, and technical excellence. Students will have the opportunity to perform at concerts, festivals, and competitions, showcasing their talents and dedication. Audition required for placement.

Beginning Percussion Ensemble
This non-audition course is perfect for high school students interested in learning percussion instruments. Students will explore a variety of percussion techniques and instruments, from snare drums to mallet percussion. Emphasis will be placed on reading music, developing rhythm, and working as a cohesive ensemble. Through rehearsals and performances, students will gain a solid foundation in percussion. No prior experience is required.
Advanced Percussion Ensemble
This advanced course is designed for high school students with significant experience in percussion. Students will refine their skills on a variety of percussion instruments and explore complex rhythms and techniques. The ensemble will perform challenging repertoire, emphasizing precision, musicality, and ensemble cohesion. Performances at concerts, festivals, and competitions will showcase the students' high level of skill and dedication. Audition required for placement.
After School Ensembles
(3 semesters participation will award a PE credit)
1st Semester - Basha Bear Regiment (Marching Band) Comprised of students enrolled in 7th hour marching band, 7th hour percussion, and 1st hour color guard
